Job DetailsLevel Management Job Location Sacramento, CA - Sacramento, CA Position Type Full Time Education Level 2 Year Degree Salary Range $105,000.00 - $115,000.00 Salary/year Job Shift Day Job Category Management DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY Under direct supervision, develops and directs ETI's SOM (Sales Order Management) & Purchasing Team in identifying suppliers and services, and oversees the involvement of EC as a supplier. Plans and implements activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, and quality control of production materials. Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and implement solutions. Maintains a working relationship with personnel in various departments and the executive team to develop meaningful specifications and statements of work. Works with vendors and suppliers to ensure the best possible service, quality, and value. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- SUPPLY CHAIN
  • Develops specifications for EC new contract orders and develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and implement solutions. (Essential)
  • Responsible for sourcing and supplying raw materials, utilities, and outside services and coordinating global procurement efforts. (Essential)
  • Directs the development and maintenance systems for selecting and approving substitute and/or replacement materials. Directs negotiations for purchase agreements ensuring the best price and terms for ETI. Interacts with purchasing and production to find the appropriate materials that meet time constraints, and cost thresholds, and facilitate smooth workflow. (Essential)
  • Foster a policy of materials involvement with Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, Quality, Production, Planning and Scheduling, Accounting, IT, and Program Management to develop a proactive participating team on materials-related issues. (Essential)
  • Develop and manage material plans for sales which include management visibility and detail followed by status reports and meetings. (Essential)
  • Maintain upper management liaison with suppliers to stimulate continued interest in ETI requirements to maximize qualified sources of high-quality material at the lowest possible cost.
  • Manage material inventories and service levels adhering to policy and standards and ensure adequate material provision to users while maintaining a minimum inventory investment. Maintain inventory levels such as to provide good asset turnover. Coordinate with finance/accounting on matters involving inventory carrying costs. (Essential)
  • Directs the development and maintenance techniques for securing, maintaining, and improving the level of competence in all purchasing/materials control activities. Directs the preparation and maintenance of budget plans and strategies for the Purchasing and Planning Group. (Essential)
  • Directs the development and maintenance of systems for control of monitoring shipments to customers.
  • Directs the development and maintenance of productivity improvement programs within the materials group. Maintains and updates Purchasing documentation for ISO 9000 System. Prepares and maintains necessary paperwork and/or systems for reporting, monitoring, and tracking material flow. (Essential)
  • Supervises and directs the activities of Purchasing, SOM, and personnel. Directs personnel-related functions including, but not limited to, hiring, performance appraisals, approval of timecards, and time off schedules. Interfaces with staff of other departments to identify and provide cross-functional support requirements and facilitate assigned objectives. (Essential)
  • Maintains a clean and safe working environment compliant with EBARA safety policies. (Essential)
  • Complies with EBARA's safety policies, including participation in and completion of all required safety training.

Education
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent experience.
Experience
  • Five + years of work-related experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry. Two (2) or more years of supervisory experience.
  • Sufficient PC skills to manage information and prepare reports and presentations without support.
  • Working knowledge of Supply Line Management. Working knowledge of ISO 9000 procedures and standards.
  • Strong Customer Relations skills.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate and work effectively with internal colleagues and customers.
  • Must have sound business understanding, good mathematical aptitude, and knowledge of quality assurance philosophies.
  • Demonstrated leadership and program management.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and organizational skills.
