Job DescriptionA leading Remediation/Abatement company in Queens has partnered with gpac to find a Purchasing Manager to join their growing team. The right candidate will enjoy a family-oriented & supportive culture, along with a comprehensive salary & benefits package. Duties include:
- Inventory/Warehouse management
- Creating purchase orders as needed
- Scheduling vendors and subcontractors as required
- Maintaining established business relationships and seeking/cultivating new ones
- Monitoring supplier performance and reporting to on trends
- Planning and forecasting future needs
- Work collaboratively with related departments to ensure smooth operation
Qualifications:
- 5 years minimum experience in a Purchasing Management position with a Remediation or Construction company
- Fully bilingual English/Spanish required (no exceptions)
- Strong organizational skills
- Strtegis thinking and analytical skills
- Ability to maintain and develop business relationships
- Negotiation skills
