Job Description Everstaff is searching for a Puchasing/Planner for a dynamic client where innovation and collaboration are encouraged. You'll have the opportunity to lead process improvements and contribute to the success of a global supply chain team. This role is responsible for overseeing procurement and planning processes to ensure timely delivery of materials and efficient inventory management. The ideal candidate will excel in communication, organization, and process improvement while maintaining high standards in supplier management and production planning. Salary: $60,000 - $75,000, based on experience Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm Direct Hire opportunity! Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage procurement of raw materials, traded goods, and MRO supplies.
  • Develop and maintain production schedules and inventory targets.
  • Ensure all shipment dates align with production needs.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to resolve quality or delivery issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including customer service, quality, and operations, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor and report on inventory metrics, including stock levels, variances, and safety stock.
  • Identify and onboard new suppliers, including negotiating pricing and contracts.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Maintain compliance with ISO/IATF 16949 and ISO-45001 standards.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of purchasing, planning, or supply chain experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial materials.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (M3 experience preferred) and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of import/export customs procedures and regulations.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with quality management tools such as APQP, PPAP, and FMEA.
  • Global supply chain experience is a plus.
