Heritage Truck Equipment is looking for a Purchasing/Production Control Agent who will be responsible for procurement/manufacturing of goods for the organization, the Agent will ensure cost-effective purchases and consistent delivery of quality goods and control manufacturing of parts efficiently to meet production schedule.Heritage Truck Equipment, located in Hartville, OH, is one of the leading manufacturers of premium steel and aluminum dump truck bodies in the industry. - Build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Issue purchase and work orders and organize and confirm delivery of goods and services.
- Oversee and manage the tracking of shipments, work orders, inventory, and the supply of manufactured/purchased goods.
- Develop procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
Education/Experience:
- Previous experience preferred in the procurement of goods and services.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Multi-tasking, attention to detail, and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Previous experience preferred working in CAD/CAM nesting software.
- Good communication, negotiating and interpersonal skills.
