Join Our Team as a Purchasing Specialist at Venza Care!Venza Care is expanding rapidly, and we're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll work closely with our facilities and vendors to ensure that each location has the necessary supplies while maintaining budgetary constraints. This role involves managing orders for a variety of supplies, training staff on purchasing platforms, and collaborating across departments to improve efficiency and teamwork.Job Title: Purchasing SpecialistLocation: Cullman, AlabamaPay Range: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)Key Responsibilities:Vendor and Staff Communication:Serve as the main point of contact between facility staff and external vendors. Handle inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.Order Management:Oversee the ordering of various supplies, including dietary, housekeeping, maintenance, office, therapy, and medical supplies on a weekly basis for each facility.Budget Oversight:Ensure that all orders stay within the assigned budget while meeting the needs of the facilities. Train facility staff on how to use platform solutions for ordering and managing supplies, ensuring smooth and efficient processes. Work closely with other departments to guide and support best practices, encourage teamwork, and promote a culture of efficiency and communication. Proactively source items needed across facilities, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.Qualifications:Staff TrainingCross-Department CollaborationSourcing and Procurement Software: Procurement partners/ Oncare, DSSI orPlatform solutions
