Job Description:

Our client in the Manufacturing industry, located in Middlesex County, is looking for a purchasing specialist to join their team. This position will be responsible for the following:

  • Creating and sending purchasing orders.
  • Running and reviewing reports.
  • Evaluate and negotiate pricing.
  • Company pricing of goods within the industry and stay up to date.
  • Maintain and review any discrepancies with purchase orders.
  • Timely and effective communication
  • Perform related job duties as required in assisting purchasing team with any administrative functions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) Business or related field
  • 2yrs experience in purchasing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and research skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Not required but preferred; Netsuite experience
