The ideal candidate for this would be a self-starter with can-do attitude and strong work ethic with knowledge and experience of superior analytical and problem-solving skills to find solutions to various accounting problems and prioritize work. Duties and Responsibilities: Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data. Analyze discrepancies and resolves issues in a timely manner. Record fixed assets and depreciation. Support timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close. Perform financial compliance and regulatory reporting activities. Stay updated on changes in regulations and standards. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Monitor, review and analyze to identify and create schedules for potential unclaimed property liability. Assist in all ad hoc projects. Education and Experience Requirements: A bachelor's degree from accredited college in Accounting or Finance is preferred. Minimum 3.2 undergraduate GPA 1-3 years of prior accounting experience preferred, but we would also consider exceptional candidates. Proficiency in Excel, including experience working with pivot tables and vlookup. Proven experience in bank reconciliation a plus. Knowledge of cloud-based accounting platforms [Intacct knowledge a plus] Essential Qualifications and Competencies: Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations. Excellent oral and written communication skills . Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Highest level of integrity and honesty Confident, self-motivated, and self-directed Ability to work independently and in team-oriented, collaborative environment. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Is eager to develop new skills and enhance expertise. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Can proactively manage tasks and issues and escalate issues as appropriate. The base salary for this role can range from $60K - $80K, based on a full-time work schedule. An individual's ultimate compensation will vary depending on job-related skills and experience, geographic location, alignment with market data, and equity among other team members with comparable experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
