Job DetailsJob LocationBedford Corporate - Bedford, TXPosition TypeFull TimeJob ShiftVaries According to NeedDescriptionPRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITYUnder the direction of the Manager, IS Compliance, the QA Analyst position evaluates business and compliance risks related to computer programs, subsystems, software development, application upgrades, and systems modifications. Develops technical documentation to describe business functional requirements, hazards, and validation test plan. Acts as a liaison between users and software engineers and participates in iterative development, providing quality assurance oversight. Performs structural and functional testing of new/revised applications. Leads implementation of internal or external projects, as assigned with management oversight. Follows quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and internal guides to ensure compliance.Regular full-time attendance is required during office hours. In addition to regularly scheduled hours, the incumbent is subject to working extra-time, weekends, holidays, late evenings, and early in the day.QualificationsEDUCATION
  • College Degree or MLT/MLS/SBB (ASCP) certification or more than 5 years of equivalent quality assurance experience
EXPERIENCE
  • 3-5 years of experience in analysis, validation, verification, testing, developing plans, and technical documentation writing
  • Prior experience in healthcare, blood bank, or regulated industry
  • Experience in project implementation (small to medium in size)

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills with users, vendors, and peers

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to concentrate on complex projects

  • Problem-solving skills with ability to provide instruction to users for corrective action
  • Knowledge of QA functions (i.e., compliance, policies, project management, development and execution of software validation plans, business functions and test cases, and maintaining documentation)
