Through our platform, participants can rest assured they are accessing the loan market's most credible source of deal information. About You: Versana is looking for a collaborative and hands-on QA Automation Architect to join our Platform Engineering team. The Platform Engineering team's role is to work together to create and maintain an architecture to support Versana's real-time data platform and functionality. The Platform Engineering team enables Developers and QA Engineers the tools to build a consistent, resilient, and scalable platform. The detail-oriented QA Automation Architect will be responsible for building and enhancing a framework used by Automation Engineers to test the Versana platform. The framework will support component, end-to-end, and performance testing. The framework aims to facilitate automation engineers building tests in parallel with developers building code. The QA Automation Architect will report to the Chief Technology Officer and play a key part in building Versana's transformative syndicated loan market platform. Key Responsibilities:
    • Architect, design, and develop scalable and reusable QA frameworks for automated and manual testing
    • Ensure the framework supports comprehensive testing of functional, performance, security and integration aspects of the platform including data
    • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Engineers responsible for test automation
    • Evaluate and recommend testing tools and technologies to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness
    • Integrate the QA framework with CI/CD pipeline to facilitate continuous testing and deployment
    • Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans that align with project goals and timelines
    • Define and enforce QA best practices, processes, and standards across the development lifecycle
    • Collaborate with development and product management to ensure seamless integration of the QA framework
    • Define, collect, and analyze quality metrics to measure the effectiveness of the QA framework
    • Generate and present detailed reports on testing progress, defect metrics, and overall quality health to stakeholders
    • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in QA and testing frameworks
    • Continuously evaluate and improve the QA framework to adapt to evolving project needs and industry standards
Must Have:
    • BS or BA in Computer Science or related field
    • 5+ years building or testing financial software
    • 1+ years as a QA architect
    • Expert in Java and/or Python
    • Hands-on experience building test frameworks for front and back end testing
    • Proficiency in writing SQL queries and consuming data from a message bus
    • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
    • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
    • Curiosity and willingness to learn new things
    • Ability to process information quickly while adapting to changing priorities
    • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to partner with various internal teams
    • Hands-on experience testing and defining test approach for data platforms.
Nice to Have:
    • Cloud platform experience
    • Syndicated Loan knowledge
    • Distributed ledger and/or smart contract experience
    • Knowledge of streaming event platforms
