An Established Automation Machinery Manufacturing firm are looking for a Quality Assurance Electrical EngineerThe firm is a leading designer and manufacturer of tailored inline process spectrometers (UV-VIS-NIR, LIBS and Raman) across a wide spectrum of major industries and a contract manufacturer for photonics devices in the life sciences, medical devices, and lab analyzer instrumentation space.The Quality Assurance Electrical Engineer will be a 60-70% QA position with the other 30-40% in an Electrical Production Engineering capacity*Duties/Responsibilities:** Transfer prototypes from R&D phase into serial production phase and document the manufacturing processes.* Develop new manufacturing processes and equipment to ensure manufacturing is efficient and effective.* Design, develop, modify hardware systems for the manufacturing division.* Selects OEM components and materials for the new development.* Leads the implementation of the new products into production.* Evaluate potential new suppliers production facilities and quality systems, understands holistic picture across the globe.* Lead the supplier driven new product implementation into the production.* Investigate and analyze problems and derive solutions in manufacturing and return process.* Perform product audits and production risk assessments at suppliers.*Required Skills/Abilities:** Knowledgeable in CAD software for circuit design, simulation and PCB layout.* Knowledge of analog design, e.g., SMPS (topologies Buck, Boost, Flyback, LLC/Resonant Converters), and EMI/EMC.* Assembler and higher languages such as C/C /C#, knowledge on what a register is; and how to build a counter.* Knowledge of handling & trouble shooting electronics, optics, and mechanical parts.* Create, read, and follow test instructions of spectrometry products.* Expertise on optical sensors and related industrial systems.* Ability to use hand tools for assembly and soldering irons.* Sufficient PC Knowledge, hardware, and software (Microsoft Office), ERP system.*Educations and Experience** Extensive experience in engineering, particularly in the design and qualifications of analog and digital systems* Experience with measuring conducted and radiated EMI; digital design, and knowledge on MCU. CPU.* Proficiency of ADCs; UART, 12C and SPI.* Experience with measurements using an o-scope and multimeter.* Must have an innovative mindset, capable of finding solutions to complex engineering solutions.Compensation: Up to 130k Base Full Benefits.
