What You'll be Doing:

    • The position is an integral part of AP Product Group that builds science and technology applications that feed the analytical engines for AP! The team is comprised of motivated individuals that do exceptional work. They face challenges together and they win together. You will collaborate with a fun and agile team to architect, implement, test, and continuously deliver new features and products to our company and clients.
    • The QA Engineer role is responsible for the testing phase of the production process to ensure that the software application suite meet AP's company standards. Responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions, and identifying whether the products are functional, reliable and meet the end user's expectations.
    • Responsibilities include:
    • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
    • Design, develop and execute automation scripts using test automation tools
    • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
    • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
    • Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
    • Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies
    • Recommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective actions to ensure that quality assurance standards are achieved.
What we look for in you:
    • Experience of working in software development teams and using software QA methodologies and tools
    • Solid experience in writing clear concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
    • Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or Playwright
    • Relevant experience in agile software development, scrum methodologies & tools and processes using JIRA (e.g., epics and stories)
    • Excellent multitasking and time management skill to manage stakeholders and to meet tight deadlines
    • Experience with performance testing will be a bonus
Qualifications & Experience You Will Need:
    • Undergraduate or master's degree in in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
    • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
    • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum product development and support process using JIRA
