JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Responsible for performing quality inspections of manufactured products; ensuring product quality meets company's regulations and standards.

JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS

Quality Inspection

* Performs quality inspections for both dimensional and cosmetic checks of manufactured products; ensures products quality meets company's regulations and standards; enters dimensional and cosmetic data into Center for Audit Quality (CAQ) software utilizing Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems.

* Measures dimensions of products to verify conformation to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers, etc.

* Inspects the quality of raw materials received from suppliers utilizing visual checks and Incoming Goods Control (IGC) module.

Record Keeping and Reporting

* Records inspection or tests data such as weights, temperatures, grades, or moisture content, and quantities inspected or graded; marks items with details such as grade and acceptance or rejection status.

* Documents inspection results utilizing written reports and electronic data entry; maintain necessary files and records for quality control inspections and other related documentation.

* Reports non-conformance issues to proper personnel; communicates with various personnel issues relating to quality.

Other

* Attends meetings as required or assigned.

* Maintains a clean work environment.

* Performs related duties as required or assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

* Knowledge of computer software Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, and Access

* Ability to be detail oriented in terms of evaluating documenting and adhering to specified procedures

* Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization

* Ability to multi-task while maintaining high quality control

* Ability to organize and prioritize work

* Ability to perform with superior service, reflecting a positive company image while sustaining a positive attitude with those you interact with; always going above and beyond to help others out, regardless of their position or department.

* Ability to adhere to the highest standards of quality while continually performing at the highest possible level.

Education, Certification/License & Work Experience

* High School Diploma or equivalent

* 2+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
