Job Description:
QA JD:Primary Responsibilities:
  • Evaluates all batch samples per specifications.
  • Evaluates all raw materials per specifications. Compares COA results to specification.
  • Maintains accurate records of all test results and generates certificates of analysis per customer request.
  • Coordinates equipment sanitation and swab testing on production equipment.
  • Routinely conducts in-house QA audits.
  • Participates in various special projects as instructed by Supervisor.
  • Conducts daily scale and metal detector checks of the packing room equipment.
  • Conducts routine equipment calibrations.
  • Evaluates production lines for all QA procedures and specification requirements.
  • Ensure control of Allergens and compliance with Allergen Control Program.
  • Ensure Organic segregation and compliance with Organic System Plan.
  • Audits and assures employee compliance to GMP guidelines.
  • Investigates customer complaints against retained samples.
  • Audits sanitation of blending and production equipment.
  • Routine Sensory Analysis of ingredients and Products.
  • Report raw material and product quality issues and work to resolve issue and implement corrective action.
  • Perform ongoing shipping and receiving procedures for quality and food safety inspections.
