Center 2 (19050), United States of America, McLean, VirginiaQA Lab ATM Testing Specialist (Onsite)The Associate will be responsible for performing automated teller machine (ATM) software release validation testing and logging defects in an issue tracking system (JIRA). The candidate should be experienced working with both ATM Software and Hardware. Additional responsibilities will include executing software installations on ATM machines, curing ATM hardware device and configuration issues as well as manual testing of ATM software. The individual will work with Developers, Business Analysts, Database Administrators, Network Engineers, and support teams to analyze, develop, maintain and execute ATM software installation procedures.Responsibilities:Have an understanding of the software development life cycle and how testing appliesMaintain a solid understanding of ATM Software Stack and InstallationsPerform software release validation testing, logging defects (Jira)Experience and willingness to execute lengthy manual validation testing scriptsRemediate issues discovered during testing or deploymentExecute in person ATM software stack installationsEngage Application Owners/Developers/Vendors as needed to develop appropriate technical solutionsInvestigate and cure ATM hardware and configuration issues to allow machines to be rebuilt or brought back into serviceEngage with project teams as needed to provide packaging and deployment supportSchedule:Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ESTLocation: This role is an essential position and requires on-site attendance.Basic Qualifications:Associate's Degree or military experienceAt least 1 year experience with application packagingAt least 1 year experience of identifying software anomalies in a QA ATM test environmentAt least 1 year experience using JiraAt least 1 year experience with Windows 10 and knowledge of Windows 11Preferred Qualifications:At least 1 year of Data Management experienceBachelor's DegreeAt least 1 year experience with Windows Security updates and hardware encryption processesAt least 2 years experience with Windows 10 and knowledge of Windows 11Note: At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.Capital One offers a comprehensive, competitive, and inclusive set of health, financial and other benefits that support your total well-being.
