Role: QA Lead Enterprise IT QA Strategy and Automation

Type Contract
Primary Responsibilities:
1. QA Strategy and Process Development: Extensive experience in defining and implementing QA strategies and processes for enterprise IT projects.
2. Automation Tools:
Hands-on experience with leading automation tools such as AccelQ, BrowserStack, Insomnia Selenium, or similar.
Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or Java for test automation.
3. Test Management Tools:
Expertise in using test management tools like JIRA, AccelQ , TestRail, ALM, or similar latest tools.
Experience in integrating test management tools with CI/CD pipelines.
Consulting on Tool evaluations and adoptions for latest technologies in this space
4. CI/CD and DevOps Integration:
Strong understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and their integration with QA processes.
Experience with tools like Datadog, Dynatrace, GitHub Actions, Docker, AWS Lambda functions and ECS containers.
6. Performance and Load Testing: Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
7. API Testing: Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman, Insomnia, SoapUI, or similar.
8. Enterprise IT Knowledge: Familiarity with enterprise IT environments, including cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), ERP systems (Salesforce), and large-scale distributed systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Enterprise QA Strategy Development:
Define and implement a comprehensive QA strategy aligned with the organization's goals.
Develop and enforce QA policies, procedures, and best practices for enterprise IT projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate QA processes into the software development lifecycle.
2. QA Automation:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of automated testing frameworks.
Drive the adoption of automation tools and best practices across the QA team.
Ensure test coverage, scalability, and performance of automated tests for complex enterprise systems.
3. Quality Engineering:
Oversee the execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts, ensuring thorough testing across all project stages.
Identify, track, and resolve defects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Lead the continuous improvement of QA processes, focusing on efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.
4. Team Leadership and Development:
Mentor and guide QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Manage the performance and development of QA team members, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
5. Stakeholder Management:
Communicate QA progress, risks, and issues to senior management and other stakeholders.
Provide technical leadership and guidance on QA best practices to clients and internal teams.
Preferred Skills:
1. Leadership and Communication:
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead a team towards achieving QA excellence.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
2. Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and leading QA teams in Agile settings.
3. Security Testing: Knowledge of security testing tools and methodologies is a plus.
4. Experience in Regulated Industries: Familiarity with regulations in Insurance and Banking industry.
5. Good to have Certifications: Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are highly desirable.
