QA LeadDirect HireRemoteEssential Job Duties:
- Ensure the software product deployed to production is of high quality with minimal defect escape rate
- Generate and execute thorough test cases to ensure output aligns with product requirements and acceptance criteria
- Create automated tests in the Mabl test automation platform
- Stay current with industry standards, tools, and technologies, and apply that information to improving QA processes
- Work with the development team and others to isolate issues by collecting and analyzing detailed process steps, log files, and other relevant data/artifacts
- Evaluate problems identified in production and assist with resolution strategies
- Adhere, participate, and contribute to SAFe processes
- Validate RESTful API end points and contribute to test collection(s)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or other related disciplines
- Strong attention to detail with proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Competent in software development or software testing theory, knowledge, skills, tools (Kanban), and techniques
- Experience with issue/defect tracking and change management tools
- Proficient in understanding written requirements, including use cases, supplementary specifications, and requirements traceability
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Working knowledge of Agile SDLC (Scrum, SAFe)
- Ability to connect to SQL databases and execute queries (for functional testing and SQL View validation)
- Experience with API validation
