Quality Assurance Manager
Duties:
* Establishes, operates, maintains and improves the quality management system.
* Assures quality is integrated into all aspects of operations.
* Responsible for publication and maintenance of the quality management system Quality Manual.
* Collects and analyzes objective quality evidence and produces necessary reports to demonstrate system goals and continuous improvement.
* Provides oversight of quality management system operations and maintains and operates the Internal Quality Audit Program.
* Manages correspondence with suppliers/vendors for all quality assurance issues or concerns.
* Ensures personnel are properly and regularly trained in process control techniques and inspections.
* As necessary, conducts quality control checks, quality control inspections and final product inspections.
* Responsible for ensuring compliance with AS9100 and ISO quality management system requirements.
* Acts as the Management Representative for all AS9100 and ISO issues.
Requirements:
* Bachelor of Science or equivalent RF Microwave industry work experience.
* Knowledgeable in industry drawing standards and Military Specifications
* Experience assessing customer specifications, statements of work; etc.
* Working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers;
* Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff;
* Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures;
* Identifying relevant quality-related training needs and delivering training;
* Collating and analyzing performance data and charts against defined parameters;
* Ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated if necessary;
* Supervising technical staff in carrying out tests and checks;
* Writing technical and management systems reports;
* Liaising with customers' auditors and ensuring the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers' specifications;
* Establishing standards of service for customers
