Your Role: As a Quality Assurance Nurse at Western Hills Retirement Village, you'll be at the forefront of providing exceptional care and leadership.Your responsibilities include:
  • Lead new employee orientations and track ongoing staff training.
  • Keep health records updated and ensure immunizations and infection control measures are on point.
  • Investigate resident incidents and follow up with care planning and staff training.
  • Coordinate the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program.
  • Conduct daily QA rounds and maintain infection control logs.
  • Support emotional well-being by communicating compassionately with families and residents.
What You Bring:
  • A valid Ohio RN license and a genuine passion for enriching lives.
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare, long-term care, or a skilled nursing facility preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and critical thinking abilities.
  • A collaborative spirit to empower and uplift your team.
  • Bonus: Nursing Home Infection Preventionist certification.
