Job Description:
Position SummaryThe QA/QC Technician provides day to day support activities to ensure the QMS functions as planned. This position works closely with operations and manufacturing in coordinating production and release of product. The QA/QC technician will also support continuous improvement activities throughout the organization. Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Perform Device History Records review electronically in manufacturing and product release activities as assigned.
  • Generate scrap records and close NCR through Dynamics ERP system.
  • Help identify and support various continuous improvement quality projects.
  • Support the quality team by backing up other roles.
  • Support internal and external audits.
Qualifications
  • Ability to fully understand customer specifications and specified standards.
  • Ability to follow guidelines that are common throughout the industry, maintain a constant focus on quality and accuracy, follow directions, and work with minimal supervision.
  • Understanding of Quality Management Systems.
  • Understanding of test methods and techniques.
  • Experience working in an ISO 13485:2003 manufacturing environment.
  • General knowledge / understanding of product and process capabilities and limitations.
  • PC literate with working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Good time management and workload prioritization
Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position is not responsible for the oversight or performance management of other employees. Safety Expectations
  • Obey all safety rules, use caution in work activities, and continuously practice safe behaviors.
  • Immediately report unsafe conditions/behaviors and work-related injuries to site supervision.
Work EnvironmentThis job operates in both a professional office environment as well as the manufacturing floor. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Demand
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
  • Requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool, as necessary.
