Job Description: As a QA Engineer at Gesture, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital products. Leveraging your expertise in automated testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement comprehensive testing strategies and deliver high-quality solutions that delight our customers. ***NOTE: Candidates must include links to their current GitHub and Linked profiles in their resumes. - Design and implement automated test frameworks and strategies for frontend, mobile, and backend applications.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools like Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Jest, and Enzyme.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure testability and maintainability of the codebase.
- Perform exploratory testing and identify edge cases and potential issues.
- Analyze and report on test results, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testing best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest testing trends, tools, and methodologies. Contribute to the continuous integration and delivery (C|/CD) pipeline.
- Log and document bugs in the tracking system.
- Ensure maximum test coverage for the most critical features of the system.
- Document automated processes comprehensively, covering test plans, test procedures, and test cases.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing, excluding internship experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, Java).
- Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Jest, Enzyme).
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies (e.g., unit testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, performance testing).
- Experience with RESTful APIs and data testing.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, qTest).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with mobile app testing (iOS and Android, ReactNative).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab Actions).
- Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., Sauce Labs, BrowserStack). Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
- Familiarity with test reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Datadog, New Relic, Looker Studio, Allure, ReportPortal).
- Experience with test automation frameworks for NodeJs, React and React Native applications.
