Project Overview
Develop a Next Generation Student Information System to modernize DOE's legacy student information systems and data applications.
Build a single online interface that presents school users and parents with biographical, academic, and programmatic data for students.
Consolidate all data workflows in the systems that currently hold student information.
Establish new workflows to help school administrators and teachers manage student record-keeping and other school-based academic tasks.
Decommission legacy systems as functions are successfully deployed within the new environment
Maintain the highest standards for data security when information accessed through the browser and when information is stored to the database.
Provide a configurable system that allows authorized users to update important aspects of the implemented solution i.e. manage lookups, workflow, rules, role-based access levels, etc.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Skills Required:
5+ years of experience in manual QA testing.
Experience in CI/CD environment.
Experience with testing web applications and mobile applications.
Experience with Azure DevOps for test case and defect management.
Knowledge and skills surrounding .NET platform.
Solid understanding of basic testing concepts such as Black box, white box, Regression, Negative and Boundary testing.
Effective oral and written communication skills with high attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft office suite and working with various browsers.
Demonstrated ability to communicate and present at technical and management levels.
