Interns have the opportunity to collaborate with teams partnering with premiere Aerospace customers. We are hiring for our ASCEND program where students have the opportunity to present a capstone project to the CEO/President of the organization at the end of their intern experience. Interns from Acutec have gone on to fulfilling careers both at Acutec and other various Aerospace organizations. Multiple members of Acutec's management team began working as interns before they graduated from high school or college. An internship with Acutec can be a springboard to success post-graduation! This intern will work with the Quality Planning team that is focused on ensuring inspection plans are in place that complies with all customer quality requirements. Housing may be available as needed. Tasks • Key role in assisting in the QA planning team in developing and updating inspection plans. • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to create detailed inspection plans based on specified requirements. • Transfer existing inspection plans from legacy software to new software platforms. • Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and completeness of migrated inspection plans. Key Roles • Completes projects accurately and as assigned, meets deadlines under normal working conditions. • Establish and maintain a positive relationship with associates. Demonstrate the ability to work with others in order to achieve company and department objectives. • Handle multiple tasks, prioritize according to importance, follow instructions and works well under pressure; seeks additional work and responsibilities • Demonstrate the ability to grasp and follow instructions without constant supervision. Education & Experience Requirements: • We are seeking someone working towards a college degree in Engineering, Science, Math, Communications, Business Management, Business Development, or Economics • 3.0 GPA or higher.
