Job Description:

Our banking client is seeking a QA Test Engineer to join their team. As a QA Test Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting various cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: QA Test Engineer

Location: Hybrid in Jersey City

IN PERSON INTERVIEW IS REQUIRED - one round interview, and must be able to interview on-site in Jersey City

Pay Range: $70-75 per hour W2

(Due to client rules we are unable to work with 3rd party subcontractors; all candidates must be able to work on Experis' W2)

What's the Job?

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for data sourcing and quality assurance.

  • Perform target vs. source scripting to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

  • Analyze and interpret Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) to validate test coverage.

  • Leverage Denodo for testing data integration and virtualization.

  • Identify, log, and manage defects using JIRA for task tracking and resolution.

What's Needed?

  • Strong SQL expertise, with advanced proficiency in Oracle SQL scripting for data validation and transformation testing.

  • Hands-on experience with Denodo in a data-centric environment is a big plus

  • Strong Power BI knowledge.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data flows and requirements.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
