Job Title: QC AssociateJob DescriptionA global CDMO in pharmaceutical manufacturing providing process development and cGMP production in cell culture, microbial fermentation, and gene therapies is looking for a Quality Control Associate to support their Environmental Monitoring, Bioburden, and water collection programs.Responsibilities
  • Support Environmental Monitoring, Bioburden, and water collection programs.
  • Perform kinetic endotoxin testing and ensure accurate and timely results.
  • Conduct environmental monitoring with 1-3 years of experience required.
  • Perform bioburden testing with 1-3 years of experience required.
  • Maintain GMP compliance in all laboratory activities.
  • Execute autoclaving and general housekeeping in the lab.
  • Handle manual pipetting and Kinetic Chromogenic Assay (KCA) using a 96 plate reader.
  • Work with both paper-based documentation and the LIMs system.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in a GMP laboratory.
  • Experience with bioburden and endotoxin (gel clot and/or kinetic metals).
  • Knowledge of autoclaving procedures.
  • Understanding of general housekeeping in the lab.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in science, preferably in microbiology, biology, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with Kinetic Chromogenic Assay (KCA) and manual pipetting.
  • Comfortable with both paper-based documentation and the LIMs system.
Work EnvironmentThe site is a large facility with three different buildings supporting the global organization. The QC Associate will be part of a smaller team within the larger QC group, consisting of 11 individuals. The team operates on four shifts with two analysts per shift. The work schedule is Wednesday to Saturday, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. The company has a great culture with a strong sense of team and tenure, providing opportunities for learning time management, microbiological test methods, and exposure to the CDMO space.
