Position Summary: The QC Clerk will be responsible for handling administrative tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The QC Clerk must be dependable, able to work both independently and as team and is detail oriented.Essential Functions of QC Clerk
- QC patient documents and files
- Data Entry
- Processing paperwork timely and accurately
- Create new patient files
- filing patient documents
- Contact outside clinics to collect missing paperwork
- Request patient medical records
- Answer phone calls in a professional manner
- Schedule patients for visits
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field, or combination of education and experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Prior medical office experience
- Experience with medical insurance and referrals
- High proficiency of PC systems, tools, and applications.
- Bilingual a plus
