QC InspectorDetailsQC Inspector Glens Falls, NY 12801 Pay: $18-22/HR Shift: M-F, 10PM to 2:30PM to 11PM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of QC Inspector experience, preferably in a GMP/FDA regulated environment
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform inspections and testing on finished goods and raw materials produced by or for Medline Industries, following company procedures for specific material inspections. Accurately complete inspection documentation according to relevant procedures and flag any errors or omissions for correction.
- Operate test equipment and conduct basic measurements in line with standard operating procedures. Equipment may include tools like rulers, calipers, micrometers, and scales. Follow company guidelines for operating specific test equipment.
- Identify and report defects by initiating non-conforming material reports during both in-process and final inspections, in accordance with company policy or Accepted Quality Limits (AQL).
- Communicate effectively with relevant departments, including quality assurance, warehouse, maintenance, and manufacturing. This includes discussing inspection defects, issuing non-conformance reports, setting inspection priorities, or addressing any quality concerns.
- Verify and approve line start-ups and equipment requirements as specified by company procedures when applicable.
