We are looking for a Quality Control Lab Technician II to join our citrus manufacturing team at the production site located in Winter Haven, Florida. It is an exciting time to be part of one of the world's best fragrance and flavor companies!About the job:To be successful in this role, you must have minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Lab Technician role, preferably in a citrus or aroma chemical industry. You will be an integral part of the team for shipping & receiving samples from key strategic customers and internal affiliates worldwide. The role requires you to accurately and consistently operate all lab equipment according to training and SOP protocols. You will need to demonstrate attention to detail, customer focus, excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

In this role, titled as the QC Lab Sample Coordinator you will be responsible for:

• Performing chemical, physical, and organoleptic analysis of citrus samples based on written procedures to include daily verification of the equipment and minor maintenance on test equipment as needed.
• Performing all common (routine and non-routine) chemical, physical and instrumental analyzes on quality and service analysis for samples coming from supply chain areas, to contribute to the resolution of complaints and production problems respectively.
• Carrying out the processing of customer and affiliate sample task requests.
• Working with management regarding sample selection and approval of pre & co shipments.
• Completing and consolidation of sample requests for all deliveries (local/interstate/international)
• Management of sampling inventory including recycling and disposal programs.
• Management of incoming samples through analysis supporting procurement.
• Perform Data entry into various databases, reporting results and tracking (Oracle).
• Ensure timely approval of materials supporting the Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, science or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, fluent in English (additional languages preferred).
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.
• Ability to strategize, analyze and solve complex, multi-layered problems.
• Strong knowledge base of math and science using Microsoft Excel and Access.
• Vision (including color vision), hearing and smelling are essential functions of the position.
• Must complete and maintain dangerous goods certification for shipment of products.
