QC Supervisor to join our Pittsburgh (Cheswick) location!
Your Responsibilities:The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership qualities and will play an important role in the
Quality Assurance organization through the supervision of the Quality Control Inspection workforce. This individual will work closely with operation supervisors, engineering, program managers, and the hourly and salaried workforces to satisfy the needs of the business and customers.

Your Challenge: - Supervise represented ANSI qualified inspection workforce
- Interpret and administer labor agreements
- Plan and schedule PTO and inspector assignments
- Maintain records including labor activities, personnel qualifications, attendance, skills inventory, training and development, shop performance
- Plan and meet annual budget
- Implement program to cross-train personnel in multiple areas for increased workforce proficiency and flexibility
- Plan work based on production schedules and available resources
- Plan, implement, and manage quality control of manufacturing and production processes
- Oversee methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating production processes and finished products
- Engage EMD departments, customers, and suppliers to investigate and resolve quality issues.
- Train, direct the use of, and apply procedures to efficiently implement EMD's Quality Management System
- Ensure adequate inspection coverage for factory and communicate with Operations as needed
- Ensure compliance to business policies and procedures
- Schedule overtime, PTO, and manage time reporting
- Represent Quality Control at production, project, and Operations overtime meetings
- Meet regularly with on-site customer residents
What you Bring: - Must be sole US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance
- High school diploma
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or Quality preferred
- 4-6 years of related quality and/or manufacturing experience
- Working knowledge of MS Office, ERP systems, and other computing systems
- Demonstrated ability to function in a factory environment with a represented workforce
- Strong command and communication skills
- Ability to direct others and manage conflict
