**Alaant Workforce Solutions is seeking a QC Support Specialist to join a dynamic Quality Control team at a leading biotech company in Rensselaer, NY. This full-time position is perfect for individuals looking to start or grow their career in a manufacturing environment, providing critical support to ensure smooth laboratory operations.**
**Hours and Benefits for the** **QC Support Specialist:**
+ Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm
+ $24.00 an hour
+ Benefits include Medical, Dental, and Vision, PTO and 401k after 60 days of employment
**Responsibilities for the** **QC Support Specialist:**
+ Perform sample pulls, submissions, and coordinate transfers with other departments.
+ Lab Maintenance: Manage reagents, equipment, and supplies through ordering, logging, inventory, and stocking.
+ Environmental Monitoring: Conduct temperature, environmental, and CO2 monitoring activities.
+ Documentation and Compliance: Complete laboratory documentation and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
+ Training and Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance activities and complete required training.
**Requirements for the** **QC Support Specialist:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related life science field
+ Proficiency in MS Office
