Location: Saddle Brook,NJ, USA
Position Summary:
With minimal supervision, the QC Technician's primary responsibilities will be;
* To execute the day-to-day incoming inspections using available calibrated gages and technical aids, etc.
* Review and maintain accurate documentation / regulatory records.
* Collate and present department daily KPI's.
* Issue Corrective Action Requests to external suppliers as necessary.
* Perform first article inspections on newly designed and procured commodities.
Supporting Duties (includes, but is not limited to):
* Assist with production first off's and end of line final product inspections.
* Processing the supplier RMA's.
* Any other duty assigned by department manager.
Essential Qualifications / Experience:
* High School diploma / General Education Degree (GED) with a minimum of 1 year of field experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Understand and effectively use general measuring equipment including, but not limited to, veneers, micrometers, height gages, optical comparators, indicators, etc.
* Ability to work both independently and in a team setting, as well as take direction from senior members of the Department / Team.
* Ability to read and understand work orders, blueprints, written and verbal instructions.
* Ability to lift 30 pounds, if required.
* Must be able to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
* Ability to read and understand part control plans.
* Ability to use ERP systems and Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word and Power Point
* Well-organized.
* Previous mechanical experience, machinist is a plus.
* Electrical experience a plus but, not required.
* CMM experience a plus.
