QHSE Technician

Our client is seeking a QHSE Technician (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment) (3rd shift). In this role you will report to the Plant Manager. The QHSE Technician is accountable for coordinating quality and HSE processes on the assigned shift and factory. Plant activities include molding, assembly, and testing of underground storage tanks. This position is accountable for maintaining high quality and safety standards through on-the-floor interaction with plant employees. The candidate must be open to shift work, as this is a 3rd shift position (10:00p.m. - 6:00a.m.) Compensation ranges from $45,000-$50,000 with overtime available. Minimal travel required. This position is in Williamsport, Maryland, approximately one-hour west of Baltimore. - Establish visible Safety and Quality presence on the manufacturing floor- Coordinate Safety training for all employees- Conduct and coordinate regular onsite quality audits- Record, review and report on the results of testing, inspections and audits- Administer Quality Management System elements (MOC, RCA, non-conformance reporting, document and record retention)- Provide/develop/track training on QMS- Verify and record corrective actions arising from audits and product inspections- Accountable for all quality reporting and verification- Review Completed Tank Quality Records and maintain quality statistics
