This position tracks program participation for dissemination to appropriate administrative and supervisory employees. Substance use services will be integrated and consistent with ongoing mental health and medical treatment, including the involvement of multi-disciplinary clinicians and sharing of information.Key Responsibilities:Assess and diagnose individuals with substance use disorders.Develop and provide alcohol and drug education programs and counseling services.Collaborate with medical and detoxification service providers for comprehensive care and follow-up.Contribute to treatment plans, discharge planning, treatment continuity, and aftercare plans.Provide training and consultation on substance use disorders and prepare required reports.Qualifications & Requirements:EducationRequired: MD or DO from an accredited university.ExperiencePreferred: Two (2) years of clinical experience in addictions.Licenses/CertificationsRequired: Current licensure as a physician in the state of practice.Required: Board certified or eligible in addiction medicine or addiction psychiatry.Required: DEA certification.Required: Any client-mandated certifications and/or training.ComplianceMust adhere to compliance requirements from company, client agency, and accreditation bodies.We are an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer:We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.We encourage you to apply!
