To be deemed qualified you must have a valid Engineer certification, have worked for a Class 1 Railroad within the past year, have a minimum of 1 year experience as a Qualified Locomotive Engineer.$15,000 signing bonus for Qualified Locomotive Engineers. Once familiarization is complete you will earn $52.05 per hour as a qualified Engineer.MEDICAL REQUIREMENTSOperating safely is a core foundation of CPKC. As this position is considered safety critical, successful candidates are required to complete a pre-employment medical that includes a physical, vision (including accurate color vision), hearing, alcohol, and drug audit assessment. Pre-employment qualification drug test(s) are also required.
