Working here will make you feel like you're part of a family that works together to make a difference and help nourish millions of families around the world.**What You'll Work On**+ Responsible for the coordination, facilitation and documentation of on-the-job-training (OJT) for new employees in the QA Lab (Lab Technicians, Lab Specialists and Lab Analysts).+ Develop and maintain OJT materials, processes and tools to ensure consistency across the North America QA Labs+ Train others (as needed) on OJT process and tools to serve as designated job trainer+ Develop training materials to support the OJT program. Revise and/or update OJT materials as new equipment is added or new procedures are created.+ Collaborate closely with QA Lab managers, SMEs and the QA Lab trainers at the other manufacturing sites to design and develop a standardized OJT program that prepares new employees for success.+ Communicate with QA Lab managers and staff when issues/concerns arise and work to resolve.+ Train new QA Lab employees. Demonstrate how to properly operate all lab equipment and execute all test methods.+ Conduct and document training for lab employees when test methods are revised.+ Train others to serve as designated trainers for the QA Lab.+ Update training records in the Learning Management System to ensure OJT completion is captured.You'll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.**Required Qualifications**+ Associate degree in Chemistry or a related field+ Minimum 4 years**Preferred**+ Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and workIn compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
