Where is the work: This position has been designated as On-Site in Newberry, SC. Sponsorship is not offered for this role What you will do:
- Site leader for Braze Excellence program
- Develop, support, and maintain Brazing and Welding certification processes
- Evaluate and implement innovative, cost effective, safe, manufacturing processes and techniques which will improve the effectiveness of the manufacturing operations and business systems
- Lead effort with various functional team members collaborating to improve designs, processes, and equipment while enhancing design for manufacturability and customer facing quality.
- Leverage customer feedback to improve processes with feedback into design to track design improvements leveraging Braze Excellence standards.
- Design and implement sub-assemblies and fixtures to improve quality, shorten product cycle times, and ergonomics.
- Provide technical expertise and leadership for the timely resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems. Serve as a resource for cause / effect analyses, investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning
- Support various areas with quality improvements and projects
What you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree preferred. Will consider experience in lieu of a degree. High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous manufacturing experience required
- Project Management and CAD experience is preferred
- Knowledge and demonstrated ability to implement Lean-Six Sigma processes
- Aptitude for mechanical/electrical application as related to equipment/processes.
- Brazing and/or Welding knowledge/experience preferred
