As a team member with this company you will help them to achieve their mission in developing a new ecosystem built around sustainability by reclaiming carbon fiber from composite materials and converting those reclaimed carbon fibers into high value-added materials that can then receive new life in other products.This is a role that reports to the General Manager of the facility. They need someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who has the intrinsic motivation that drives change and innovation. You will need to show you have the leadership capability and go getter mentality to grow the department, being a team builder and making process suggestions and changes. You will also need to show you understand production processes and controls and have the ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environment.Leaders at this company wear multiple hats, so you may be asked to do things outside of your normal job duties. You will be responsible for monitoring and controlling all aspects of safety and quality within the plant, including maintaining ISO certifications. You will also perform regular audits to ensure full compliance with product specification and ISO procedures.You will need to show you are capable of working effectively with other internal teams like production, development and sales to maintain product supply and the effective introduction of new products and processes. You will need to understand customer needs and specifications to develop quality control processes. Some other responsibilities will be:- Manage the customer complaint process, driving corrective actions and compliance- Oversee the Quality Lab, creating and revising material testing procedures- Maintain quality records for incoming and finished products- Create and review specifications for products and processes- Interfaces with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met- Oversee the safety program, creating and revising process to maintain a safe work environment- Monitor and enforce safety requirements- Assist in the development of new products and processes- Build a positive work environmentMonday - Thursday 10- hour days and a 1/2 day on Fridays. There is rare weekend work when they are extremely busy.Base salary DOE + 10% baseline incentive, and a full benefits package.
