JOB SUMMARY:As the
Quality Assurance & Training-Process Administrator, you will:
- Deliver department-wide best practices in the areas of cleaning tasks and frequencies, product selection, inventory standardization, training programs, and inspections to maintain desired APPA level cleanliness.
- Meet safety standards and service levels to ensure a healthy academic and work environment.
- Find unique solutions to complex situations involving people and buildings, sometimes in ambiguous circumstances.
- Exhibit ownership, initiative, positivity and fun in the workplace. Reports to Department Operations Manager.
What We're Looking For:Education and Experience: Qualitified candidates will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Technology, Supervision or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- 3 years of experience required; 2 years of experience in custodial supervision and 1 year in one or a combination of the following areas: inspections, quality assurance, auditing, training or related area. Additional years of experience preferred.
- Must have completed Building Services Custodial Development Program or be enrolled in program within 90 days of hire.
- Preferred: Knowledge of campus buildings and locations. Knowledge of custodial products and processes/procedures.

- Competence coaching/leading others and strategic thinking
- Must be able to demonstrate success in process review and improvement; to include challenging the status quo, championing change, and effectively influencing others to change.
- Must possess technical competencies in custodial processes, sanitation methods and government compliance and safety.
- Functional competencies in MMDS data sheets, workplace safety, APPA cleaning standards, ISSA industry cleaning times, tasking and work-loading for custodial processes.
- Ability to supervise small team of (1-3) staff.
- Functional knowledge of supply chain dynamics, inventory, ordering, cleaning best practices, floor care, and planning/scheduling processes.
