Job DetailsLevel Experienced Job Location BH-Mental Health - Detroit - Detroit, MI Position Type Full Time Education Level Graduate Degree Travel Percentage Negligible Job Shift Day Job Category Nonprofit - Social Services Description The Quality Analyst has a comprehensive understanding of managed care and knowledge of county Quality Improvement procedures. Knowledge of and compliance with ACC policies and procedures. Knowledge of community resources. Ability to exercise initiative, problem solving and decision-making skills. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Skill in organizing, planning and prioritizing. Background working with diverse patient populations including chronically mentally ill, substance abuse, geriatric and child and adolescent patients. Strong computer skills.
  • Quality monitoring and evaluation of all staff documentation.
  • Quality assessment of agency processes and staff adherence to them.
  • Assist in Plan of Correction implementation and oversight.
  • Assist in audit preparation and maintenance of standards post audit.
  • Assist in CARF process/implementation.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with writing Quality -related Policies and Procedures
  • Assist with data collection, interpretation, formulation and presentation.
  • Assist with Sentinel Event, Root Cause Analysis, Death reporting and other request made by ACC or any of the county agencies.
  • Conforms to the ethical code of conduct of his/her professional organization and to ACC Corporate Compliance Program and all standards of the Code of Conduct, to the ACC Code of Conduct and to agency policies and procedures.
  • Attends required meetings and participates in mandatory annual trainings in such areas as recipient rights, confidentiality, corporate compliance, prevention of violence and management of unsafe behaviors and cultural competency.
  • Participates in professional development activities and keeps current with healthcare trends and practices.
  • Maintains strictest confidentiality.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of Master's degree in a Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field.
  • Minimum two years related mental health experience preferred.
