We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Analyst with excellent writing skills to join our Agile Software Development Team to plan and conduct tests on systems to ensure they meet all requirements and expectations. This role requires an understanding of business processes, user requirements, as well as underlying technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing Java, C# and Angular based applications and working with MS SQL Server databases. Essential REsponsibilities and duties
  • Develop and document comprehensive test strategies, including test plans, development of cases and test scripts, based on functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Perform manual and automated testing, including acceptance, functional, unit, regression, integration, and performance tests.
  • Work with developers, product owners, and other team members to understand product requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, and work with product owners and developers to resolve them.
  • Participate in Agile application development and project management activities (e.g., sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) to ensure testing processes align with project timelines.
  • Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with customer stakeholders.
  • Provide detailed reports on test progress, issues, and results, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.
  • Use testing tools and frameworks like Selenium, JIRA, Zephyr Scale, TestRail, or similar to manage testing activities.
  • Ensure software complies with industry standards and best practices, particularly in regulated environments.
  • Provide training and support to other team members.
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation and user manuals as needed.
Requirements • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Minimum of 4 years of experience in software quality assurance. • Experience performing quality assurance and software testing with a thorough understanding of testing concepts and methods in manual and automation. • Experience testing C# based applications and MS SQL Server database. • Website content management (WordPress expertise is a plus). • Proficiency in Jira, Microsoft Excel, and Word. • Knowledge of multi-cultural communications and cultural context in supporting other countries. • Experiencing assisting with the implementation of complex operational procedures including the creation and delivery of classroom-style training and documentation. • Familiarity with case management systems, particularly in healthcare, is a plus. TECHNICAL AND SOFT SKILLS • Demonstrated proficiency with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Zephyr Scale, Selenium, TestRail) • Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies. • Experience with both manual and automated testing approaches. • Ability to develop and execute test plans and automated scripts. • Ability to document systems, including maintenance of requirements specifications. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Excellent writing skills. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Results-oriented, self-directed, and inquisitive • High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Benefits Benefits & Compensation The salary for this position will depend upon factors such as qualifications, experience, skill levels, technical competencies, and other criteria, in the range of is between $90,000 and $120,000 including straight-time overtime.
