About Our Client My client is a leading manufacturer of beauty products, specifically in the fragrance space! They design, market and distribute designer, lifestyle and celebrity fragrances and personal care products!
Job Description - Assist the Director of Quality Assurance with creating, managing and implementing the quality management system.
- Assist the Director of Quality Assurance with creating and reviewing standard operating procedures.
- Manage sample retention and evaluation program in Bellport Office.
- Manage documentation activities in Bellport Office.
- Create, edit and monitor all quality and regulatory indices.
- Oversees retailer's compliance programs.
- Works with product development on development of new formulas to ensure formulas meeting marketing/consumers' needs and that they are in safety/regulatory compliance in all locations where product could be distributed.
- Ensures that proper documentation of ingredient listing is provided on a timely basis by manufacturers and review for compliance with current and pending ingredient regulations. Generates ingredient listing for all products.
- Works effectively to resolve any issues that arise with customs, local government agencies, corporate partners, local counsel and brand teams, etc.
- Document current regulations and prepare/update guidance documents for use in preparation of artwork.

The Successful Applicant - Bachelor Degree required in Regulatory Affair.
- 5 years + experience recommended in beauty/personal care regulatory/ product development field, fragrance industry.
- Candidates without demonstrated regulatory experience will not be considered.
- Knowledge of US-FDA regulations, EU 1223/2009, ISO 22716, Fair packaging and labeling Act, Prop 65, REACH, IFRA and FD&C regulations a major plus.

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
