Quality Assurance AssociateSummary: Safe Horizon's Family Focused Program provides comprehensive trauma-informed client-centered services to families who are affected by intimate partner violence and are involved in the child welfare system. Our goal is help those who have experienced physical, emotional or other forms of abuse to establish long-term safety and healing from the effects of trauma. Safe Horizon uses a client centered, trauma informed, anti-oppressive approach to supporting clients. Safe Horizon recognizes that families who have experienced intimate partner violence may want to or need to stay in contact with the person causing harm in the family. The Family Focused Program (FFP) was designed to engage family members with support to assist in healing and explore ways for families to maintain contact where safe to do so. In this model, all participating members of the family are considered clients (survivor, person causing harm, and their children). The Quality Assurance Associate supports the Directors and Manager Quality Assurance to develop internal policies and procedures to improve programmatic practice, performance and operations. Learn and integrate a trauma-informed, client-centered approach, using an anti-oppressive lens, into your work with clients. Essential Job Functions: Conduct compliance and qualitative reviews to assess program performance; Track and monitor progress with data sets including ACS PAMS, Scorecard and internal measures; Collaborate with caseworkers, supervisors and program directors to ensure timely submission of progress notes, FASP's, and other required documentation; Proactively identify trends in worker/team data entry and assist in the creation and monitoring of plans to improve data quality and timeliness; Research best practice and promising practice methods and models to develop evaluation techniques and instruments for measuring provider performance. Produce monthly and quarterly reports that includes but is not limited to, performance data, Clients Served, Supervisory Case Reviews, Casework Contacts, FASP Timeliness, Family Engagement and Family Team Conferencing. Support the design of dashboards using Microsoft Excel and/or other programs to monitor compliance and practice in key performance indicators. Provide supportive and corrective feedback to program staff to promote positive outcomes; Secondary Job Functions: Engage in continuous learning and professional development that furthers the department's continuous quality improvement mission and goals. In addition to the tasks listed above, the Quality Assurance Specialists will accept all other tasks as assigned and necessary to support the success of program(s). Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in social work or in a related field required (or equivalent relevant experience) At least three years of experience working in an ACS Child Welfare/Human Services setting with in-depth knowledge of and familiarity with ACS and OCFS child welfare policies, procedures and best practices required. Advanced skills in using agency and child welfare systems such as, Connections and PROMIS systems. Must be proficient in MS Office Suite; high proficiency in Excel and PPT required. Must be a creative thinker and problem solver. Ability to work as part of a team and independently to achieve necessary results; Must be self-motivated and self-directed to manage and complete projects within structured timeframes. Strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills required Ability to manage multiple tasks, under pressure and meet deadlines.
