As part of the team here, you'll ensure every product we sell online or in-stores is delivered on time and with quality, ensuring our customers are amazed and delighted with their selection.
What you'll do:
- Maximize the company growth and profitability by conducting inbound and outbound quality product audits to ensure the accuracy of orders.
- Audit inbound and outbound vendor shipments (Crate and Barrel, CB2, and Crate and Kids) for construction, quality, consistency, packaging and labeling.
- Conduct random sampling methods, document findings, and communicate with Merchandising to determine acceptable quality levels and the best course of action for resolution of issues.
- Communicate characteristics (versus quality issues) to the Furniture Shop, Distribution Center, and cross-dock associates and support a collaborative decision-making process for furniture determinations.
- Process all return-to-vendor to recoup lost dollars.
- Move merchandise, supplies, and/or boxes repetitively.
- Follow the loss prevention and security guidelines to minimize inventory shrinkage and profit loss.
- Promote a culture of respect and an atmosphere of teamwork in order to foster a positive working environment.
- Abide by the established dependability guidelines to maintain business productivity.
- Adhere to company safety guidelines to prevent personal injury and product and facility damage.
- Listen actively and effectively.
- Clearly communicate in both verbal and written form.
- Establish open and two way conversation with all associates.

What you'll bring:
- Ability to move and/or lift up to 65 pounds; heavier merchandise with team assistance
- Proven proficiency in English language skills
- Word, Excel, Outlook knowledge required
- Must work effectively as a team member
- Basic math required
- Previous furniture experience preferred
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent preferred
- Understanding of the AS400 system preferred
- Equipment certification as needed
