Job Description:
Summary of Position MissionQuality Assurance Auditor is responsible for maintaining the Quality duties on our manufacturing lines as well as daily auditing of all documented processes and specifications.Responsibilities
  • Inspect all product coming out of our Manufacturing lines.
  • Audit all operations and functional areas of for compliance to Job Breakdown Sheets
  • Follow an inspection checklist and document findings for incoming inspection of received parts
  • Report Audit findings to area supervisors and Quality Manager
  • Utilizes basic test equipment such as Calipers, Rockwell Hardness Tester, Micrometer, ext.
  • Communicate daily to Quality Manager on problems or areas of improvement
  • Sample inspect and screen product as required
  • Demonstrates solid understanding of firearm manufacturing requirements
  • Demonstrates complete understanding of firearms safety
  • Maintains record of non-conforming materials
  • Always stays on task with assigned duties.
  • Adheres to all employment policies/safety policies/practices required by law/established by Company.
  • Wear all necessary Personal Protective Equipment directed by the Company at all times.
  • Maintains and keeps workstation and department area clean.
  • Complete all required paperwork timely and accurately.
  • Adhere to all employment policies/safety policies/practices required by law/established by Company.
  • Wear all necessary Personal Protective Equipment as always directed by Company.
  • Immediately report any maintenance and/or safety issues to supervisor
  • Maintain respect, courtesy, a positive attitude and professionalism towards all co-workers and the Company.
  • Other duties will be assigned, as required.

  • Interact effectively with a variety of people.
  • General mechanical ability is required.
  • Possess sound problem-solving skills to help facilitate solutions to problems identified during the inspection process.
  • Ability to use Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Strong understanding and experience with Work instructions
  • Experience with Industry Sampling Plans
  • Experience with Auditing to ISO 9001 preferred
  • Ability to used Standard measurement tools, height stands and optical comparators
