Insight Global is seeking a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer for a direct hire opportunity with one of the most innovative gaming companies in the nation. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for automating manual test cases into runnable automation test suites that can be executed across various environments. You will develop comprehensive test plans, strategies, and cases for different workflows, and perform a range of testing types including Functional, Regression, Ad Hoc, Integration, End-to-End, and User Acceptance testing. Your role involves analyzing project requirements and design documents to create meaningful test cases and plans, identifying gaps to ensure the feasibility of automated test creation. You will construct various testing tools and scripts for use by other test engineers and contribute to internal QA initiatives across the organization. Collaboration with other engineering team members and departments on technical issues and updates is essential. Additionally, you will analyze test results to determine root causes of issues, assess their severity and scope, and guide prioritization for resolution. Regular software defect tracking, regression updates, and presenting status and technical reports are also key responsibilities. Required Skills & Experience3+ years of web automation experience including web service automation.2+ years of experience with JavaBS/MS EE/CS or technical degree or relevant experience.Experience with SDLC and Agile development methodologies and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)In-depth knowledge of QA automation technologies: Selenium, Jenkins, Java, Junit, TestNG, Appium, Git and MavenExperience with Test Management Tools (Jira, Jenkins, Confluence, Bitbucket, CI/CD tools, TestRail, Brow tack, etc.) Nice to Have Skills & ExperienceExperience with API testingExperience with AWS Cloud (running & setting up tests)Experience building automated tests for native applications with tools like Xcuitest, compose, etcKnowledge of REST API Calls and version control technologies such as Git.Experience using a package management tool like Maven or Gradle.
