JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
The Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for performing quality assessments to ensure the Supportive Services of Veteran Families (SSVF) program compliance. This includes, but is not limited to, internal auditing of case files, data input, and data reporting. The Quality Assurance Coordinator works as a team member to identify and implement training in critical areas of the SSVF program.
Essential Functions

* Ensure the SSVF program operations follow VOA policies and VA requirements by reviewing eligibility determinations, recertifications and performing quality assurance reviews on Veteran case files.
* Provide feedback and guidance to SSVF staff on case file review results.
* Identify, oversee and track organizational, program-specific, and case management software training.
* Work with the Quality Assurance Team to develop an annual training scheduled for all SSVF teammates per program requirements, case management software and CARF standards.
* Train SSVF staff according to the developed curriculum for new hires and ongoing training.
* Maintain Housing Skills Practice Center Learning Management System for SSVF
* Working with the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS), overseeing data quality and coordinated entry processes.
* Advise and assist the SSVF Program Coordinator with HMIS and data reporting as needed
* Support and assist SSVF Service Coordinators as required, including performing case management
* Travel routinely to the different SSVF offices to conduct case file reviews and provide feedback to staff and travel to provide new hire training and successive training as needed.
* Work with the Program Manager to identify trends and training needs.
* Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but acts as a mentor/coach for other SSVF staff.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptops, photocopiers, and smartphones. This position also often works in non-traditional work settings to meet the needs of those enrolled in the program.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This job's specific vision abilities include close vision and adjusting focus. This would require lifting files, opening filing cabinets, and bending or stooping as necessary.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and work hours are generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
This position requires monthly travel as needed or assigned by the supervisor to effectively support the SSVF program and for training needs as scheduled.
Required Education, Experience, or Eligibility Qualifications
* Associate's Degree with a minimum of two years of case management experience or closely related experience
* Or -
* High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of four years of case management experience or closely related field experience
* Valid driver's license
* Adept with computer programs including but not limited to Microsoft Office suite and data information management systems
Preferred Education and Experience
* Bachelor's Degree in human services, behavioral science, or related field with one year of case management experience
