- Quality Assurance Coordinator's primary responsibility is to provide support by inspecting trusses, truss cord and parts being produced by the Truss Department meet the approved standards.
- Check parts on each assigned table/press to insure proper set up of jig, cord, parts and nails according to individual truss blueprint.
- Monitor nail placement, overhang and king post on every unit produced by the Truss Department.
- Ensures quality of cord (correct length and grade) when a forklift operator delivers fresh cord to table/press.
- Demonstrates honesty and integrity. Has a strong work ethic. Displays a great attitude and models teamwork, assisting others as needed.
- Reports directly to Quality Control Team Leader and Truss Department Area Coordinator.
- Complete necessary paperwork to include tags, hourly check sheet and other required forms.
- Other duties as assigned.
