Position Summary:

The responsibility of the Quality Assurance and EOC Specialist is to develop performance improvement activities through the monitoring of quality and the compliance of standards specifically related to environment, electronic health record system administration, Meaningful Use/Promoting Interoperability, regulatory and insurance expectations and other quality measure-based activities in conjunction with the Performance Improvement Coordinator. Serves as the client portal administrator. Plans, coordinates and executes the educational aspects of the onboarding process under the direction of the Management Team. Helps to implement new Center standards and new Center policies and procedures as required. Ensures the quality of delivery of services is trauma-informed, wellness and recovery oriented, and person-centered. Assists in audits, and mock surveys of facility assuring agency standards are maintained and integrity is preserved.

Essential Functions:

* Complete monthly and quarterly statistical reports (QCMR) for the Clinical Services Director, Medical Director and Business and Operations Director with upload to the State Portal.

* Serves as system administration of the electronic health record and client portal administrator

* Coordinates orientation for staff on-boarding including electronic systems and asset management

* Responsible for compliance with accreditation and licensing standards for environment of care with the Facility Manager

* Conducts Quality Assurance auditing of records, notes, treatment plans etc. as indicated by regulations, standards and needs of the agency

* Serves as a member of the Performance Improvement Committee as assigned

* Maintains the Proactive Risk Reduction, Safety Committee and Environment of Care minutes and policies

* Assists Performance Improvement Coordinator with any major initiatives, accreditation, and licensing

* Works with PI Coordinator on reporting for State, grant contracts and regulatory agencies.

* Performs other related duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in Mental health or related field or relevant work experience.

* Computer Proficiency (MS office, Publisher, Microsoft Access, or Excel)

* NJ Driver's License in good standing

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English), and experience/sensitivity in working with culturally diverse populations.

* Knowledge of Joint Commission and DMHAS standards for Medical Records

* Lived experience in mental health and or substance us disorders and in recovery
