Summary:A worldwide, growing Aerospace Parts Distributing Company is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Inspector to join their team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in meeting ISO, OEM and FAA requirements to ensure airworthiness to send to customers. Resolving hardware quality problems, providing visual inspections and showing great communication skills is of the utmost importance. Responsibilities:* Certify parts using FAA Form 8130-3 to meet FAA requirements. * Perform internal quality audits to AS9100 standards.* Ensure supplier products meet all requirements.* Resolve product quality problems.* Communicate with customers, OEM and FAA as well as process their returns.* Understand compliance with all Company / Aero Policies * Clear communication with the rest of the Quality, Shipping & Receiving and Supply Chain departments.Job RequirementsQualifications:* Quality Assurance Inspector experience: 3 years (Required)* Using FAA Form 8130-3 to meet FAA requirements: 1 year (Required)* Knowledge of AS9100 Aerospace requirements.* Knowledge of direct involvement with the FAA (or military experience).* Literate in reading engineering specifications and design drawings.* Great customer service, communication, and organizational skills to maintain a positive work environment.
