JOB TITLE: Quality Assurance Inspector - Gun Assembly
DEPARTMENT: Quality Assurance
REPORTS TO: Quality Assurance Lab Supervisor
PURPOSE OF POSITION: Ensures that weapons and weapon systems are properly and completely assembled, packaged and that their components are functioning properly.
SPECIAL TRAINING NEEDED: Familiarity with the function and performance of gas-operated firearms and their components.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
* Ability to read and write English and interpret documents such as Engineering drawings, Quality Procedures, and Inspection / Control plans.
* Must be able to perform math calculations.
* Ability to use of jigs, fixtures, measuring instruments and attribute gaging (i.e. go/no-go gages)
* Must be able to use any required charts, maintain, and understand records.
* Must be able to work from written and verbal instructions.
* Must have proficient computer skills.
DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES:
* Primary responsibility will be to perform visual and functional inspection of gas-operated firearms and their components.
* Generate documentation necessary to provide objective evidence of conformance to Engineering requirements and adherence to Company standards of Quality.
* Additional duties as assigned by management.
