Position: Quality Assurance InspectorLocation: Syracuse, NYType: Temp to HirePay: $18-$20/hr. + benefitsOverview:Adecco is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector for a local client in Syracuse, NY. This role involves ensuring quality throughout the production process, from raw materials to finished products.Key Responsibilities:Conduct routine visual inspections and assessments of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.Identify faults in materials and manufacturing processes.Inspect raw materials using purchase orders and job cards against quality specifications.Read blueprints and specifications to ensure compliance with production standards.Document and analyze product conformity to specifications.Adhere to QMS procedures and ISO/AS9102 requirements.Use measurement tools (calipers, scales, duro gauges) to assess product dimensions.Communicate regularly with Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, and Production teams regarding quality issues.Collaborate with management on workload and seek opportunities for additional tasks.Monitor product characteristics throughout the production stages.Maintain logs and quality records, assisting with machine operators' quality concerns.Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.Required Skills:Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and product specifications.Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and relevant software (Planar, Zebra).Strong understanding of product and/or process inspection.Quality control certification (e.g., ISO 9000) is a plus.For immediate consideration, please apply now!Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
